I live in a little house on a hill, though not much of an artist myself I love seeing what others can create. I do love decorating cakes and cookies though but am fairly new to the art. I can sew and enjoy making costumes. I care for a feral cat colony in my neighbourhood. I'm eclectic and enjoy listening to a wide range of music. I play WoW to relieve stress :P. It has been some time, I actually had forgotten all about dA - I'm so, so sorry... Anyway, I thought I'd start to share again and decided to let the cosplay bug bite. I've always made costumes for Halloween for the kids, myself and various nieces and nephews, it's time to push my skill a bit. I have two costumes in mind for myself for next years cosplay events; the forth doctor (though female and steam punk) and for those of you who play WoW, a female dwarf rogue in Bloodfang armor. I've not decided on my weapons yet and am still bouncing around whether I will try to create the armor with "real " leather or with something else. I do want to k

Back from camping

It was a great weekend, our first camping trip (actually any trip) in 5 years. Now that the kids are older (2 1/2 and 4 1/2) it's easy to manage them we'll be doing this yearly. We split the work on the trip with my sister's family, she has 3 kids aged 2 1/2 to 6, and it made things easier. I'll upload the photos into my snapshot area, I just wished that I had more time to get out on my own, I really was limited in the photo's that I was able to take. Here is my favorite one for now.
